"You know when you are a kid and you have dreams of becoming a doctor, construction worker, police officer, etc; Well my dream was to become a dog. Now unfortunately that does not work out the way i had thought it would. However I did the closest thing possible which was to try and understand dogs and dog psychology.

After earning a BA in psychology I dove head first into the dog world. I worked and managed multiple dog daycare facilities . I worked at a very large pet store chain as a dog trainer and then moved onto working as a puppy development trainer for guide dogs. I have also worked as a service dog trainer for PTSD and autism support.

With my personal dog who start this whole journey, we do sports such as Barn Hunt, Lure coursing, Obedience, and Cattle/Sheep herding.

I have vast experience in the dog industry which I am excited to use to help pet dog owners increase their quality of life and the bond with their dog. "- Nicki Founder

ASHES K9 was built with the mission to provide people affordable training with proper resources to help them live a better life. Our goal is to make sure everyone enjoys their dogs.

We are committed to following LIMA (Least intrusive minimally aversive) canine intervention policy.

Not only are we client driven but we aim to foster an open environment for other trainers as well. We want to educate and build one another up to make sure everyone is successful.

Continuing
Education.

Here at Ashes K9 we believe in constant evolution and growth to further our learning. We pride ourselves on partaking in seminars, completing diplomas, advancing our learning and getting certifications.

No one way of training is the answer. We must continue to learn in ALL aspects of dog training to ensure we have enough tools in our toolbox to successfully help all dogs and clients.
